Kit consists of

1 X Chassis

1 X Hopper

2 X Sets of brake shoes and bars

2 X Brake arms

Late 1920s-1939: Prototype built for Appleby Iron Ltd. Livery believed to be red oxide with white lettering. Several hundred wagons
built for various private owners with detail differences such as riveted bodies, side inspection walkways and end steps.

1940-1948: Wagons registered for mainline use pooled under Ministry of War Transport regulations in 1939. Wartime repaints presumed to be various shades of light grey as available with small white lettering showing pre-war ownership, numbers and weight. No further wagons of this design built.

1948-mid 1970s: Pooled wagons nationalised. Any side inspection walkways removed and end steps added. Livery of early British light freight stock grey with black number patches and numbered randomly into ‘P’ series at overhaul or repair. Some may have gone into limestone traffic.

Two wagons survive. Wagon #197 at Scunthorpe and #P210000, a former private owner wagon is at Rocks by Rail museum in Rutland.

3D printed in grey PLA.
